Three paintings from the last two weeks. 1st is acrylic 24x48. 2nd is also acrylic 20x30. These two are just from my head, not copying a photo or another painting. This is a big step for me...just to paint from ideas. The third is a small 8x10 oil, which is loosely based on an old photo of a chicken house from my Stepmom's childhood farm. Most of it is made up. I had a lot of fun with the colors in this painting.

Commissioned piece for a teenage girl's room.

OK...by far the most fun I've had painting yet. The Death Star from Star Wars!

More kids rooms. Top is an adaptation of Where the Wild Things Are. Bottom photo is 1 wall with simple flowers that go along with the bedding.

I've had the chance to paint some kids murals over the last bit, and I LOVE painting for kids. Here are a few of the things I've gotten to do!
The first picture is of letters that I custom painted to match the bedding, along with four small canvases that can be hung separately, or in a square grouping.

The second is 'Knights and Dragons' for a little boy's room! Also matches the bedding.

I was able to take some oil classes from artist Frank Dallimonte in Burlington last year. Wonderful! After an initial struggle because they are so different from acrylics, I fell in love with them. I've been copying some other artists work, but these two were my own, done loosely off of some Italian photos I found. Both are oil 20x30.
